UPQHA OFFERS ACADEMIC AWARD

UPQHA will grant an Academic Award to a UPQHA member who is furthering his/her education.  The recipient of the award will be announced at the annual banquet in 2009.  The committee handling the award process is:  Diane Maccani, Heidi Maccani, Gayle Lampinen and Joe Simonich.

Applications must be turned in by December 1, 2008.

Academic Award Rules:

1. Applicant must be attending a two or four year college, technical college or approved vocational
    program (i.e. horse program).

2. Applicant must be a current year member of UPQHA at the time of application and have joined
    before June 16, 2008.

3. Applicant must submit an application by December 1st with all substantiating papers required.

4. Recipient will be evaluated by all committee members and a winner chosen.

5. Award will be announced at the annual banquet in 2008.

6. If there are no applicants during a year, UPQHA may hold that award over and award two the
    following year if approved by all committee members.
